“ENGLISH ONLY CAFE” aims to provide a space for people who have come to Japan from overseas to exchange information and make friends with fellow foreigners, Japanese people who speak English, or those familiar with foreign cultures.
“ENGLISH ONLY CAFE” also serves as a relaxing community space for foreigners living in Japan.
🌐 Regarding Meetups at “ENGLISH ONLY CAFE”
“ENGLISH ONLY CAFE” is an international environment where participants are from more than 100 countries. We do various meetups on the theme of English conversation and international meetups every day for free admittance.
In our meetups, you can enjoy conversations with as many people as possible by controlling a group with a small number of people and changing seats regularly.
We also provide opportunities to speak only English or Japanese time and tables at all meetups to provide an opportunity to speak English, Japanese, and any languages well.
That is why you can learn about cross-cultural and international exchanges with people from all over the world.

“ENGLISH ONLY CAFE” holds various language meetups in English and Japanese and French, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, and other languages.
We also regularly hold one-on-one language exchanges in English and Japanese. Furthermore, we hold daily social events to practice the Japanese language.

☕️ About Hobby Meetups and Various Events
“ENGLISH ONLY CAFE” holds language exchanges and various other kinds of social events.
Regularly, we hold social events related to hobbies such as music, anime, drawing, travel, and TECH/IT. We also hold social events related to Japanese culture, such as tea ceremonies and calligraphy. In addition, we organize events and excursions such as summer festivals.
We also regularly hold meetups exclusively for students and women.

Board games may be played anytime, but please ask a staff member if you wish to play as it is by permission only.
* If you start playing board games on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays between 6 PM and 8 PM, a board game fee of 500 JPY is required

* One more drink (including alcohol) from 300 JPY, Light meal from 200 JPY
* Free entry and exit
* Re-entry after 7 pm is possible (please ask the staff when temporarily leaving and order a drink (replacement fee) upon re-entry)
* Some meetups will have a participation fee

* You can participate for up to 4 hours from 6 pm to 10 pm
* Fridays until 11 pm

Each meetup (about 2 hours) for one drink charge (from 500 JPY)
* You can join for 4 hours from 7 pm to 11 pm
* You can join consecutively (One drink charge for each meetup)
* If you join between 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm, you can join until 11 pm for an additional 300 JPY

* If you are a first time, you will receive a “Member Passport” (Membership Certificate) after ordering your drink

* Drinks start at 500 JPY, and alcohol can also be ordered
* Refills can be ordered with any drink and are discounted from 300 JPY

* Please fill in your name and other information using the sample as a reference before receiving your drink
* If you have received a drink ticket, please sit at the table of the meetup you attend, and when your number is called, please pick up your drink at the counter to the left of the reception and return the ticket
* If you didn’t receive a drink ticket, please wait in front of the counter to the left of the reception to receive your drink immediately

🌎 Participation in the Meetup
Please join the table for the meetup you wish to attend.
* Meetups vary by table and time of day
* Each meetup is divided by the indications on the table
* For example, “ENGLISH ONLY MEETUP” is a table with flags of English-speaking countries or English-only signs, “Japanese Language Practice Meetup” is a table with a Japanese flag
* Please be sure to join the table of the meetup you attend for the first
* Please put “Member Passport” on your desk and use it to introduce yourself

We will change seats periodically. When the seat change announcement is made, please change seats to talk with another person.
* As a general rule, seat changes will take place every 30 minutes
* You can move to other meetups when you change seats
* Don’t change seats except when the seat change announcement is made, and do not move tables or chairs
